Thanks to this DOLE Whip Lime Margarita recipe, you can have one of your favorite Disney cocktails at home! The best part is that this recipe uses REAL lime DOLE Whip soft-serve mix, just like they use in the Peter Pan Float in Disney World's Magic Kingdom!
For those who don't know, the DOLE Whip Lime Margarita is found at the Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Simple in ingredients, it is lime DOLE Whip blended with blanco tequila. Easy peasy, lime squeezy!

But how do you make this margarita at home if you don't have an ice cream maker? Well, we have an easy solution for you: Let's make some lime DOLE Whip ice cubes!
For those who don't already know, DOLE Whip soft-serve mix is a powder. All you do is mix it with water (and freeze in a soft serve machine), in order to get the DOLE Whip we all know and love. Well, instead of freezing the mix in a soft-serve machine, we are making lime DOLE Whip ice cubes. Then using a blender, we create the perfect smooth and creamy margarita.
The rim of the cup is covered in Tajín Clásico Seasoning made from mild chili peppers, lime and sea salt. Tajín is only mildly spicy, so don't let its appearance deceive you! The taste is predominantly lime with a hint of chili pepper. It's citrusy punch is the perfect compliment to this drink.
This margarita is so tasty, you won't even believe it! It has a cult following for a reason. But if you've never had one in Disney World, you might be surprised to know that the flavor of the DOLE Whip Lime margarita recipe is tart. It's unlike any artificial lime flavor that you might be accustomed to, like in a lime popsicle.
Somehow, the tart lime compliments the flavor of the tequila perfectly. Plus, it's super fun to have a thick and creamy margarita that walks the line between soft-serve and your traditional frozen cocktail.
